Rail Budget 2013-14
This budget is the UPA led govt. 2 nd regimes last budget as the election is to be held in next year 2014 hence the govt. need to lure the voters and also required to follow need of the railway system to reduce the losses which it incurring constantly in spite of the fact that there are no competitors to it. We can assume that Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal has to give/ Moderate budget where he can please everyone and I think he gave his best. Mr Bansal stated loss of Indian Railway stands 27,000 cr. and he said that we needs bring it down without putting too much pressure on common mans pocket and he refers this budget as common mans budget. He also said that in this budget needs of all states have been taken care. He also stressed on the needs of public amenities and safety to passengers and female passengers specially.
